Las Vegas – The Rebels blew an eleven point halftime lead but managed to beat #22 Colorado State 61-59 on a 15 foot jumper by senior guard Anthony Marshall, Wednesday night at the Thomas and Mack.
After trading baskets several times, and with the score tied at 59, Marshall grabbed a defensive rebound and held the ball, taking time off the clock, before hitting his game-winner with seven seconds left.
Bryce Dejean-Jones and Katin Reinhardt both scored 15 points to lead the Rebels and Anthony Marshall finished with 11.
UNLV has now won 13 games in a row at the Thomas and Mack and have a 20-7 record overall and our now tied with San Diego St. for third in the Mountain West at 7-5. The Rebels hit the road Saturday night to take on Wyoming in Laramie.
