(Las Vegas, NV) — The Department of Family Services wants to hire more people.

Officials will ask Clark County commissioners today for permission to hire 49 new full-time people. Their salaries will be funded by the federal government.

New staffers will be assigned to Child Protective Services, the DFS’ emergency response team, and the district attorney’s office.
