Kelsey Spatz of Wausau, Wisconsin became the landmark passenger on Friday afternoon. She now has a free weekend stay in Sin City and tickets to various shows.

The monorail company says the nearly four-mile system that runs behind and along the Las Vegas Strip ranks among the best rail systems in the nation, in terms of riders and revenue per mile.

The Las Vegas Monroail has struggled with operational and financial issues since it opened on July 15, 2004.
