(Las Vegas, NV) — Illness has forced Celine Dion to cancel this week’s shows on the Las Vegas Strip.

Caesars Palace says the singer developed a secondary infection after recovering from the flu. Dion’s doctor has ordered rest this week, canceling her scheduled performances from tomorrow to Friday.

Dion is expected to be back on stage next week.

Refunds will be issued for the scrapped shows.
