Las Vegas – The Rebels suffered their fourth road loss in a row Wednesday night in Colorado Springs as Air Force beat up the road weary Rebels 71-56. The Falcons out gunned the Rebels shooting over 51 percent from the field, UNLV struggled shooting just 42 percent.
Guard Mike Lyons led the scoring attack for the Falcons with 27 points. Freshman guard Katin Reinhardt was the only Rebel to reach double figures, with 15 points. UNLV is now 18-7 on the season and 5-5 in the Mountain West. The Rebels are back at home on Saturday night to host San Diego State.
