(Carson City, NV) — Now that embattled Assemblyman Steven Brooks has been banned from the Legislative Building, security has been tightened.
Panic buttons have been installed at some desks, while the number of police officers on the third floor have doubled, according to a “Las Vegas Sun” report.
Legislative Counsel Bureau Director Rick Combs says the added steps will “ensure the safety of everyone” in the building.
