GEORGE NOORY IN LAS VEGAS: Get tickets now -- be there June 9!

(Carson City, NV) — State lawmakers began their first day in the Legislature by voting to get paid.

Senate and Assembly members yesterday approved a bill that sets aside $15 million for salaries.

Each member gets paid about $9000 for the 120-day session, plus a living allowance of around $18,000 dollars.

Governor Brian Sandoval is expected to sign the bill.
