(Carson City, NV)  –  Assembly Democrats vow business as usual, despite controversy surrounding Steven Brooks.

The caucus says its work “will go on whether or not he is able to join us at the start of the session.”

Brooks was arrested earlier this month, for allegedly threatening Speaker Marilyn Kirpatrick.  He denies the allegation.

His attorney says Brooks is still undergoing a medical evaluation.
