Las Vegas – It took less than an hour for NV Energy to get the power back on to 10-thousand customers who got hit with an outage in the area of Flamingo and Valley View.

The power was out in the area that stretched from Flamingo on the south to Desert Inn on the North and from Valley View on the east to Arville on the west. NV Energy’s Mark Severts says the first reports on the cause of the outage is “equipment failure” at the substation on the southeast corner of Valley View and Flamingo
