(Las Vegas, NV) — President Barack Obama plans to visit Las Vegas Tuesday on his first trip outside Washington of his second term.
Obama made numerous stops in the Silver State while he campaigned for re-election and defeated Republican Mitt Romney in the state.
A White House official confirmed the destination on condition of anonymity before the formal announcement.
Obama’s ability to blanket Nevada paid off as he defeated Romney by a 52.3 percent to 45.6 percent margin.
