NRA Chief Blasts Obama On Gun Control
(Reno, NV) — The CEO of the National Rifle Association has accused President Obama of trying to “redefine freedom” with his gun control proposals.
Speaking in Reno last night, Wayne LaPierre delivered a speech the NRA says was a response to Obama’s inaugural address.
LaPierre says the president wants to “whittle away at freedom and infringe upon the freedoms that we the people reserve for ourselves.”
The president has urged Congress to approve background checks for all gun sales, and a ban on assault weapons and high capacity magazines.
