Las Vegas – The Rebels came up a little short in Fort Collins, as the Rams held on to beat UNLV 66-61.
Dorian Green hit six clutch free throws among his season-high 24 points to help Colorado State extend its school-best record for consecutive home wins to 24.
Anthony Marshall led the Rebels with 15 of his 21 points in the second half. Katin Reinhardt added 11 points, and freshman Anthony Bennett chipped in with 9 points and 6 rebounds.
The Rebels are now 15-4 on the season and 2-2 in the Mountain West. UNLV heads home to host Wyoming on Thursday, January 24th at the Thomas and Mack. The Cowboys are coming off a huge win at home, beating #15 San Diego State 58-45 on Saturday night.
