(Irvine, CA) — After five years as the state with the highest foreclosure rate, Nevada has lost its crown to Florida.
RealtyTrac.com says the Silver State ranked second in 2012, with one out of every 37 homes receiving a foreclosure-related filing. That’s down 57% from 2011.
Florida ranked first last year, with Arizona, Georgia and Illinois also in the top five.
