Goodman Previews Autobiography
(Las Vegas, NV) — The man who once called himself the “happiest mayor in the universe” is offering a sneak peek of his upcoming memoir.
Former Mayor Oscar Goodman provided some hints about the new book during a luncheon on the Strip yesterday.
He says it will focus on his Philadelphia childhood, his three terms as Las Vegas’ mayor, and how he became an attorney to such mob figures as Anthony Spilotro and Meyer Lansky.
Goodman believes the memoir will be a hit because “anything with Vegas can’t miss. People love us. They’re fascinated by us.”
“Being Oscar” hits bookstores June 4th.
