(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–The driver of a cement truck died in a crash that also involved a Metro Police truck. It happened this afternoon on the Summerlin Parkway near Rampart. One eastbound lane of the Parkway re-opened shortly before 5:30p

NHP investigators say the cement truck was traveling westbound when the driver lost control and it careened into an eastbound lane and collided with an unmarked Metro Police truck. Two officers were inhurt. The cement truck skidded along a rail before overturning, and flipping into a ravine.
