CBS LAS VEGAS-On Wednesday Sheriff Doug Gillespie said he was satisfied with a new fact-finding process to examine officer involved shootings. This new system wouldn’t take place unless the district attorney’s office cleared the officer(s) of criminal charges in each case. Chris Collins, Executive Director for the Las Vegas Police Protection Association, talks about this new process and how it’s different from the coroner’s inquest. Allison Fried, International Communications Manager for the Consumer Electronics Association, talks about how this year’s Consumer Electronics Show went and what we can expect for next years convention.
Carolyn Edwards, CCSD Trustee Board Member and President of The Clark County School District Board, talks about their three proposals to stop the overcrowding in elementary schools in the valley. John Avello, Executive Director of Race and Sports at Wynn Las Vegas, gives us the odds for this weekend’s football playoff games.
