Las Vegas – Just days after losing goaltender Mark Owuya to the Toronto Marlies of the ACHL two more Wranglers are on their way up the ladder. Center Eric Lampe and left wing Josh Lunden have both been loaned to American Hockey League teams. Lampe has been called up to the Norfolk Admirals, while Lunden is returning to the St. John’s IceCaps.
Eric Lampe, 26, has tallied 14 goals and 30 points in his second season with the Wranglers and Josh Lunden, 26, has collected six goals and 16 points in his third season in Las Vegas, which included a nine-game point streak (Nov. 10, 2012 – Jan. 1, 2013) that resulted in three goals and six assists. The Wranglers play the next three games on the road before returning home on Saturday, Jan. 19, at 7:05 p.m. to face the Colorado Eagles.
