(Las Vegas, NV) — The Nevada Athletic Commission has delayed a hearing for boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. over a failed drug test.

His attorney told commissioners this week Chavez could not attend a scheduled hearing because his visa had expired and he can’t leave Mexico.

Chavez tested positive for marijuana last September after his loss to Sergio Martinez in Las Vegas.

Chavez’s hearing is now scheduled for the end of February.
