Las Vegas – Anthony Bennett had a season-high 28 points along with 10 rebounds to lead UNLV over Cal State Bakersfield 84-63 on Saturday night. Bennett, who had 21 first-half points, was 10 of 13 from the field, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range.

Bryce Dejean-Jones added 12 points and six assists and Quintrell Thomas had 10 points for the Rebels (12-2), who shot 51 percent from the field. The Rebels have a couple days off to prepare for conference play which begins for them at the Pitt in New Mexico on January 9th.
