(Las Vegas, NV) — The parent of Allegiant Air has canceled a deal to purchase 10 jets. Vegas-based Allegiant Travel says the July deal for Airbus A-319 planes with Cebu Pacific Air was terminated because both sides could not, quote, “satisfy certain conditions.”

Allegiant contracted for the planes to handle expected growth. The company’s president says seven newly-purchased A-320 aircraft will be pushed into service.
