(Las Vegas, NV) — Hundreds of people in need were treated to a Christmas Day dinner in the valley.
Catholic Charities volunteers served about 1200 meals yesterday at their facility near downtown Las Vegas. On the menu was turkey, potatoes, veggies and desert.
Meanwhile, the Broken Chains Outreach Ministry served up a turkey meal to hundreds of homeless people at the Harley-Davidson dealership on Eastern Avenue. Each diner also received gifts of thermal underwear, gloves, socks and a Bible.
