Las Vegas – The 21st ranked Runnin’ Rebels won their eighth straight behind a big game from freshman Anthony Bennett. Bennett posted a double-double with 20 points, on 7-of-12 shooting, and 12 rebounds to lead No. 21 UNLV to a victory over Northern Iowa, 73-59, Wednesday at the Thomas and Mack Center.

Bennett added three blocks and Khem Birch finished with 11 points and nine boards for the Runnin’ Rebels (10-1), who haven’t lost since November 23rd against Oregon.

The Rebels are back in action Saturday, when they host Canisius at the Thomas and Mack.
