(Las Vegas, NV) – If one elected official has her way, the Las Vegas constable’s office will be gone.
County Commissioner Chris Giunchigliani wants to eliminate the post, following a series of controversies surrounding Constable John Bonaventura.
The plan would need approval from state lawmakers.
Bonaventura has been under fire for an ill-fated attempt at reality television, allegations of sexual harassment and hiring deputies with questionable backgrounds.
