(Las Vegas) – A Las Vegas man has died as the result of a skydiving accident south of the Valley.
Clark County Coroner Mike Murphy says 51-year-old Richard Frazer jumped 10-thousand feet from a plane at the Jean Airport on Saturday morning. Frazer’s parachute opened, but he was caught in a “dust devil” that caused the chute to fold and send him plunging to the ground about 30 miles south of Las Vegas.
Frazer died from blunt-force trauma, and the coroner has ruled out equipment failure.
