(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The alleged leader of a drug trafficking ring is heading to prison.

Twenty-seven year-old Oscar Cavadas pleaded guilty to various charges, and will be sentenced to life behind bars in February.

Cavadas was one of 14 people charged after more than 200 pounds of meth, along with cash and vehicles, were seized in July 2011.

Two suspects are still at large.

District Attorney Steve Wolfson calls it, “the largest methamphetamine bust ever in Southern Nevada,” and Cavadas “will get an equally serious prison term.”
