(Carson City, NV)  –  The state Department of Transportation wants more drivers to buckle up.  NDOT officials will ask the Legislature to pass a primary seat belt law, according to a report in the “Review-Journal”.

Currenly, officers can cite a driver only if he or she is pulled over for another violation.

So far this year, 88 people have died in Clark County traffic accidents, up more than 50% from 2011.
