(Las Vegas, NV) — Police continue to look for a gunman after a woman was shot in the head and a man was wounded in the hand in an overnight attack west of downtown Las Vegas.

Las Vegas police say the shooting happened about 2:30 a.m. Monday near Charleston and Decatur boulevards.

KTNV-TV 13 reports the woman was hospitalized in critical condition.

Police say they’re looking for a male assailant.
