CBS LAS VEGAS-This March Cirque du Soleil will be putting on a charity event called “One Night for One Drop”. Over 200+ preforms will gather in the O Theater at the Bellagio. Krista Monson is the Director for “One Night for One Drop” and she talks about all the preparation for this event. The City of Henderson is letting residence go to community gyms for free. Callers tell us if they like what the City of Henderson is doing.

Terri Clark is the CEO of Communities in Schools of Nevada (CISN) and she talks about their annual Santa Tea. There will be seasonal treats and activates for the family to do. Every day that passes we get closer to falling off the so-call “Fiscal Cliff”. Congress and the President are at a standstill to reach a deal and it’s not getting any easier for Republicans. Callers tell us if they think we will go off the Cliff.

Kelly Hurst is the Candidate for Assembly District 9 and explains how a district judge ruled that Andrew Martin (D-Las Vegas) does not live in his district. Andrew Martin will take his seat in February if there are no further challenges from Republicans. Kelly explains it will be a hard battle to win. Callers voice their opinion regarding this issue.
