(Las Vegas, NV) – Drivers for the valley’s second-largest cab company are deciding whether to go on strike. Nearly 1300 employees at Yellow Checker Star Transportation are voting on a motion to authorize a walkout.Last week, drivers turned down a proposed five-year contract with the firm.
The state Taxicab Authority has issued temporary permits for other companies to put more vehicles on the road in case there’s a strike.
