(Carson City, NV) – Taxable sales rose in Nevada for the 27th straight month.
The state Taxation Department says retailers collected more than $3.7 billion in sales during September, up more than 4% from a year earlier.
Nevadans spent more on everything from cars and clothes, to construction-related products.
The state’s Economic Forum, which sets projections lawmakers must use to frame spending for the next two years, is scheduled to meet later today.
