LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Las Vegas Police Department is warning commuters to expect delays Thursday afternoon as NASCAR vehicles parade along the Strip.

Racecars participating in the “Victory Lap” will make a two-mile loop on Las Vegas Boulevard from Planet Hollywood to Spring Mountain Road.

Authorities say motorists should expect delays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., though no road closures are scheduled.

The event is part of the NASCAR Champions Week in Las Vegas.
