Nevada Ranks Last In Graduation

(Washington, DC)  –  Nevada has the lowest high school graduation rate in the nation.

The federal Department of Education says during the 2010-11 school year, 62% of Silver State high school seniors received a diploma.

Iowa, Vermont and Wisconsin had the highest graduation rates, while New Mexico and Georgia joined Nevada at the bottom.
