Police Looking For Missing Oro Valley Woman
ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) — Police in the Tucson suburb of Oro Valley say a search is on for a missing 51-year-old woman who was last seen Wednesday morning.
Police Lt. Kara Riley says the family of Janet Rennspies reported her missing on Thanksgiving and police asked agencies in Pima and Pinal counties to look for her.
Her family found her car in the parking lot of the Mount Lemmon observatory on Friday and search and rescue teams are scouring the area for signs of Rennspies. She isn’t an avid hiker but was known to enjoy outdoor activities.
She’s described as a white female, about 5 feet, 5 inches-tall, 125 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Anyone who’s seen her should call Oro Valley police at (520) 229-4900.
