(Las Vegas, NV) – More than 9,000 Nevada homeowners have received help from a foreclosure settlement.
The federal government says five of the nation’s biggest banks, including Bank of America and Wells Fargo, have provided over $900 million in relief for the Silver State between March and September. That includes short sales, refinancing and lower loan balances.
The average benefit comes to just over $100,000 per borrower.
