(Las Vegas, NV) – Fewer evictions are taking place in Las Vegas.
Between January and October, the Las Vegas constable’s office has served just over 17,000 eviction notices. That’s down from nearly 37,000 evictions in 2011.
One reason is Nevada’s new robo-signing law, which makes it more difficult for banks to start the foreclosure process.
