(Carson City, NV) – Clark County could benefit from a settlement over a so-called “money grab.”
The “Las Vegas Sun” reports the state will repay the county about $50 million by funding improvements to the airport interchange at the 215 Beltway, and giving the county a financial break on its share of Medicaid.
County officials demanded the state give back the money, after the Legislature took a portion of local tax revenue to balance the budget.
