(Las Vegas, NV)  –  A domestic dispute in the northeast valley leads to an officer-involved shooting. It happened late last night near South Hollywood Boulevard and East Charleston.

Authorities say a woman reported her ex-boyfriend beat her and damaged her vehicle.

The pair was found at an area park, where the officer encountered the man and a shot was fired, hitting the ex-boyfriend in the leg.  He was taken to the hospital, but is expected to recover.

The officer is on paid administrative leave.
