(Las Vegas, NV) – A motel on the north end of the Vegas Strip has been shut down for what one official calls “unabated prostitution.”
Councilman Bob Coffin tells the “Review-Journal” the Oasis Motel on Las Vegas Boulevard near Sahara was closed by police and the city’s licensing department.
He says current tenants have been allowed to stay, but no new customers will be allowed.
Coffin says the city will start cracking down on hotels and motels with “persistent problems.”
