(Las Vegas, NV) – Family Court Judge Steven Jones has pleaded not guilty to 20 counts in an alleged investment fraud scheme. Jones surrendered to federal authorities yesterday.
He’s free on his own recognizance, and a trial is set for January 8th.
Prosecutors claim the 54-year-old Jones and five others defrauded victims out of $3 million.
The judge has taken a leave of absence from the bench, and faces suspension without pay for the indictment.
