(Carson City, NV)  –  Republicans are closing the gap with Democrats in early voting.  The secretary of state’s office says 42% of Nevada’s registered voters have cast early ballots as of yesterday morning.

Democrats have a nearly 38,000 vote lead over Republicans who have taken part in early voting,  but the GOP is leading among those who have voted by mail.

Early voting in the Silver State runs through tomorrow.
