(Las Vegas, NV)  –  An unidentified man has been killed in a police-involved shooting.

Officials say it happened around 3:00 p.m. yesterday on Desert Inn Road near Eastern Avenue. Metro police responded to a call involving of a man who was shot in the hand outside the Ross Dress for Less Store.

Officers located the suspect, who reportedly ignored orders and went for a handgun inside his waistband.

The gunman was fatally shot by three officers.  No one else was hurt.

The officers involved have not yet been identified.
