Vegas Volunteers Headed To Help Hurricane Victims
(Las Vegas, NV) — Four local Red Cross volunteers are heading to the East Coast to prepare for Hurricane Sandy.
Two will take part in care and shelter duties in Albany, New York. A third will help with fund-raising efforts in Washington, DC. A fourth will be in Maryland for transportation needs.
The Southern Nevada Red Cross says it’s possible more local staffers will be used, depending on how severe Hurricane Sandy becomes.
