(CBS LAS VEGAS, KXNT) After they debate Monday night in Florida, Mitt Romney and Barack Obama head to Vegas.
Both campaigns have scheduled rallies this week in the Valley. With national polls indicating a close race, both campaigns are placing new emphasis on the battleground state of Nevada, and its six electoral votes.
Romney is bringing Vice Presidential running-mate Paul Ryan to a mid-day rally at Henderson Pavilion Tuesday. Doors for the event open at 9:45 Tuesday. The campaign has been stributing tickets for the event–they are free, but are required. You can find the locations for tickets here.
President Obama campaigns here the following day. On Wednesday night, he holds an outdoor rally in Doolittle Park off West Lake Meade Blvd. Its Obama’s 9th trip to the state during the campaign. He was here most recently to prepare for the first presidential debate.
Doors for the Doolittle Park rally open at 6p Wednesday evening. Tickets for the event are being distributed through Tuesday at several campaign offices and other locations, including the Pearson Community Center, on West Carey, the East Las Vegas Community Center on Eastern Avenue, the Arroyo Market Square at Rainbow & the 215, and the Obama campaign office in Henderson.
