(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Some of Las Vegas’ best-known landmarks will take on a different look as part of a national effort to end bullying.

To mark “Spirit Day,” the “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign will turn purple tomorrow.  Marquees outside a number of Vegas Strip resorts will follow suit.

“Spirit Day” was sparked by a teenager who asked her friends to wear purple, as a way to honor teens who had lost their lives to bullying.
