LAS VEGAS (AP/KXNT) — Police say entertainer Flavor Flav is jailed on felony charges stemming from a domestic argument with his fiancee and threats to attack her teenage son with a knife.
Officer Bill Cassell said no one was injured before 53-year-old William Jonathan Drayton Jr. was arrested about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at his home in a residential neighborhood several miles southwest of the Las Vegas Strip.
The former rapper and reality television star was being held on $23,000 bail at the Clark County jail, with an initial court appearance scheduled for Thursday. He is charged with two counts: assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor domestic violence.
Drayton was part of the hip-hop group Public Enemy. In recent years, he starred in several reality TV shows. His public persona includes wearing a big clock on his chest.
