(Las Vegas, NV) — Health officials are encouraging people to walk more, and they hope a new effort will do just that.
The Southern Nevada Health District and the Outside Las Vegas Foundation have installed distance markers along more than 30 miles of regional trails and park paths in the Las Vegas Valley.
The idea is to help people determine how much physical activity they’re getting, and give them an incentive to “go a little farther.”
You can get a list of all the local trails and their difficulty levels at www.NeonToNature.org.
