(Las Vegas, NV) — The two candidates for Nevada’s new Fourth Congressional District were on the attack in their televised debate. Republican Danny Tarkanian and Democrat Steven Horsford traded one-liners during yesterday’s debate at the Vegas PBS studios.
The two men blasted each other’s personal finances, but drew clear lines on such issues as nuclear waste storage, the Affordable Care Act and gay marriage.
Horsford avoided a question on whether President Obama had done enough to help the economy, while Tarkanian did not say how he would vote on Nevada mining issues.
The two men will debate again this Sunday.
