(Las Vegas, NV) — Two law students will get a close look at the legal system after they killed an exotic bird at a hotel exhibit on the Las Vegas Strip.
Authorities say Eric Cuellar and Justin Teixeira, both 24, killed a Helmeted Guinea Fowl in the wildlife habitat at the Flamingo Hotel.
Some of the incident was caught on video surveillance.
Cuellar and Teixeria told police they are law students at University of California, Berkley.
Both men were arrested and booked at the Clark County Detention Center on charges of conspiracy and killing wildlife.
