(Las Vegas, NV) – The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation is moving to seize the assets of congressional candidate Danny Tarkanian.
FDIC lawyers say Tarkanian missed Monday’s deadline to file documents in the case, according to an article in “The Sun”.
The FDIC wants the assets from Tarkanian and his family to settle a $17 million judgment on a bank loan involving a failed real estate deal. A court hearing is set for October 22nd.
Tarkanian is running against Democrat Steven Horsford for Nevada’s new Fourth Congressional District. Their second debate is tomorrow night.
