LAS VEGAS (AP) — A man was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence after his car left a Las Vegas roadway and struck four pedestrians on a sidewalk, critically injuring two of them.

Police say Uziel Reyes-Perez of Las Vegas was booked into the Clark County jail following the accident that occurred shortly before noon Saturday. He escaped unharmed.

Two pedestrians, 58-year-old Anthony Coca and 53-year-old Gary Taylor, were sent to the hospital with critical injuries.

Police say 48-year-old Brian Kopperman suffered serious injuries and 55-year-old Martin Lomas suffered minor injuries.

Prosecutors have said toxicology tests showed the blood-alcohol level of a driver exceeded the legal limit shortly after he crashed a speeding car into a crowded Las Vegas bus stop on Sept. 13, killing four people and injuring eight.
